Tearing my hair out

hello,

I have a TADO V3 kit, I have everything set up however when i replace my Potterton EP2002 I have weird issues, I have rewired it 5 times and been through the instructions each time. I'm positive I'm doing it right even my electrician is stumped. I have tried technical support but I cant get hold of anyone apart from a computer it seems

I have a link cable in 5 to L and then 1,3,4 are populated the rest go to LThe Tado installation tell me to treat 5 as a normal live

So when wired up, i can call the heating fine and it triggers the boiler. However the app cannot turn it off only the button on the controller can. The hot water does not trigger at all on app or via button, to test it was getting power I swapped the NC and NO and the hot water comes on instantly.

Thinking it was the controller or bridge I have swapped them out for new ones with the same results.

@Ant98989 Hello. Looking at the two sets of pictures, I can't see a wiring error from old to new? Have you checked the configuration of the wireless receiver? There are three settings: S-plan/Y-plan (fully-pumped), combi or gravity? Section 6 of the manual explains how to change the setting:

For the user community to help, can you post details:

    • The products you have purchased? Is it the full starter kit? New or previously installed? Do you know if it the standard Tado product or from an energy provider?
    • Details of the heating system: boiler make/model (combi or system), programmer/timer, thermostat? S-Plan or Y-plan heating/HW with zone valves? Gravity? Combi?
    • Pictures will help, easiest posted from a web browser.

You'll also need this information to get through the Tado chat-bot and for their support team to help you.

    EDIT: Typo

  • Looks like.its set correctly in the app
  • Worth noting I have gravity fed heating and pressurised water so I switch modes to gravity fed to see what happened
The hot water will turn on with the heating not separate. I can't turn neither on or off in the app and the hot water test button does nothing.
  • Scrap all this after the shocking treatment and support I've received and how they are unable to answer basic logic and a time frame of days for an emergency coupled with no phone support I'm sending this trash back
