Heating setup but trying to add hot water
I have the Tado wireless thermostat and TRVs setup for my heating system and it has been working well for the last 3 years.
I have decided to add the wireless receiver to control my hot water.
The hot water is currently controlled by a timer with Live and Neutral feed and one output (power to HW solenoid valve)
I connected the receiver with Supply L & N, L bridge into HW COM and output on HW NO.
Everything paired and looked good however the HW would not switch on or off and the heating once on would then not turn off.
I removed the receiver and the reset the wireless thermostat and everything is working again.
It seems like the thermostat is talking to the receiver and as the heating is not linked to the receiver (and can not be) it is not functioning.
Has anyone else had similar issues or can help me resolve this problem?

Correction it is a wired thermostat
