AWB Thermomaster C-XV 25 with Opentherm module added

I have built in the Thermomaster Opentherm module (0020092426) in my AWB Thermomaster C-XV 25 and connected the module X32 edge connector to the C-XV’s mainboard X32 edge connector. I connected my Tado thermostat to the OT and Gnd plug on the Opentherm module. The green LED on the module remains solid green whatever changes in temperature in make on the Tado thermostat. According to a description I saw this indicates the module does not see an Opentherm thermostat (the Tado) conected to it. I checked the wiring between the Tado and the module to be ok.
Any suggestions what the issue can be (e.g. the Opentherm module comes with both connections on the OT plug shorted. Should I now also short the E-bus + and - on the C-XV mainboard that were originally connected to my AWB thermostat, I’m a bit hesitant to just try....)?)
