    @14spc Interesting! Good spot! And somehow, I've missed that Tado has come out with a new range of hardware that apparently has offline scheduling (but isn't compatible with previous hardware): https://shop.tado.com/en-row

    Good spot @14spc . One to keep an eye on for future release. It would be great to know what to look out for in the future to see whether our system gets upgraded.

    I have coded several smart home microprocessors for myself and sympathise with you not wanting to rush changes.
    is the bridge protocol secret ? If not it's not so hard to use a very cheap mp (< £5 from Aliexpress.com) to make a repeater.
