how to deal with noisy TRVs that wakes up kids?

I've bough Tado Wired Smart Heating Thermostat - Starter Kit V3 and two TRVs to control temperature in the nursery room. 

The trouble is TRVs are waking up kids as they adjust temperature. I thought the good solution would be to replace TRV with the wall mounted Wireless Thermostat but that would required extension kit to replace my current programmer. 

Does this make any sense?

    It makes perfect sense. The valves are VERY noisy.

    I have a similar situation although it’s ME they’re waking up...I resorted to wedging an old trainer in between the pipe and the skirting board to reduce the resonance.
