Has anyone found 'early start' worth persevering with?

Certainly early start assumes a very slow rate of temperature rise. That way of working is a pity. The data collected from my system includes room temperature measurements at regular intervals. From these you are able to calculate the rate of temperature change when the heating comes on. You also know current and target temperatures so you can calculate how early the system needs to start in order to reach the required temperature at the target time. This is how a different system works in another of my buildings. To say quick heat does not require this is just plain wrong. At times I have need for a room to be at the target temperature for only two hours. Having to manually reset start times to achieve this rather defeats the object of a ‘smart’ system. Is there any way of putting a temperature rise rate of 8 degrees Celsius per hour into my system’s calculations? Why isn’t this information in the generally available on-line help? Is there a full technical description of how the system works available on-line? This could reduce the number of queries you receive. Thanks,
