    I have the same problem. Such a major pain. And it honestly should not be that hard for them to allow a workaround for those of us with larger houses.

    That being said, lithium AA batteries keep 1.6V during their whole lifetime. Normal alkaline batteries start at 1.56V, but quickly drop to 1.3V. I often had to change batteries after a month in a couple of rooms because of poor connectivity. Not anymore with these bad boys! If anyone of you is having issues, tries those lithium AAs in your smart radiator thermostats.

    Has anyone thought of adding an external antenna to the bridge, something like this might work, a bit of surgery/soldering of course:
