Wireless Receiver X - no hot water
Hi everyone,
First of all thank you to everyone who helped me with my other questions.
Hopefully this will be the last one in this quest.
I've replaced a Danfoss F715 with a Wireless Receiver X. The wires go into a Glowworm Energy 30r. There's also a hot water tank on the first floor.
Radiators work fine with no hiccups but I've only realized today that I have no hot water. Had a look in the app and there was no hot water tile.
Had a quick look through the manual and realized I forgot to set the receiver in S/Y mode. After doing that the hot water tile showed up in the Tado app. Unfortunately even though the hot water LED comes up on the Wireless Receiver X, I can see on the Glowworm display that it doesn't receive a request for hot water so basically nothing happens.
I've read through other forum post
s that other people had to contact customer support and only after they changed something in their system did the hot water start working.
I was hoping some of you might have a better idea because god knows when customer support will reply.
Some pictures of the wiring if that helps

I would start by checking for volts on the HW NO terminal when the app. (or HW Boost) is supposed to have turned the hot water on . . .

It was all working right before installing the Tado receiver so that should be fine.
Here's the timeline for the whole situation:
- installed Tado receiver and TRVs yesterday. Radiators work fine
- noticed today that there's no hot water at the taps or showers
- had a look at the Tado receiver and noticed the hot water light was not on
- noticed that there's no hot water tile in the Tado app
- realized that I need to set the Tado receiver in S/Y mode
- after changing the Tado receiver to S/Y, the hot water tile showed up in the Tado app
Now here's where the confusion starts
- The Glowworm boiler has 2 icons on it: a tap and a radiator that are always solidly on on the Glowworm's display
- When I turn on the radiators, the radiator icon on the Glowworm starts blinking. This led me to believe that the same will hold true for the tap icon. When I need hot water at the tap or showers it will start blinking. This never happened so far (although as you can imagine I didn't stay glued to the boiler for hours) as far as I can tell.
- Maybe an hour later after fiddling with the system and trying to get the icon to blink, I've checked and there's hot water at the tap
At this point I'm unsure if that was heating by the Glowworm or the immersion heater so really confused if the issue is sorted out or not.
