  • I've just been told that the lack of humidity data in Apple Home is down to Apple, and nothing Tado can do at their end. So I can forget the automations I have depending on humidity data. The fact that temperature adjustment does not work despite all my sensors being replaced wth smart thermostats was not addressed so I mentioned it again. They are also constantly unreachable in the Home app and unreachable 100% of the time in the Eve app. I really am beginning to question if it was worth the considerable outlay to "upgrade"

    I've had a follow-up reply from a different person which is much more encouraging. Tado are aware of the humidity issue and are working with Apple to resolve it, I was told. I was given a link to the German forum where one of the engineers responded to this issue. I'll post the link at the end of this post (if that is allowed). Still nothing though on the lack of temperature control in Homekit, just basically an on/off switch that periodically becomes unavailable although all are behaving this morning.

    The receiver is still showing the flashing light.

    What happened with your issues? I had this too, seems to have settled yesterday and so far so good. My system also worked whilst it was flashing
  • Mine has been escalated to their engineers as they are unsure why the device is working normally and the LED light flashing. I have told them it's affecting a few users so they are aware. As soon as I hear back I will update you all
  • I've had a reply this morning stating that the issue with the lights is bug and will be fixed soon by the engineers. I assume that will be via a firmware update. Strangely, both chat threads discussing the issues have vanished. I received this information by email.
