tado GmbH Incident - degraded performance affecting the tado° app - 19 November 2024
Yesterday, as reported by tado GmbG Inicident, there was a temporary degraded performance affecting the tado app. Just to inform you how this incident may have affected my Panasonic Aquarea heat pump system.
It appeared that the heat pump did not warm the house at all for some hours. Due to the heat already present in the house, this incident initially went unnoticed.
I happened to check the display of the internal unit during the incident. To my surprise the mode of the heat pump had been changed unknowingly from heating/warm water to warm water only. I changed, manually, the warm water mode to heating/warm water mode again. As a consequence, the heat pump started heating the house again.
I am not aware of whether there is a direct connection between the reported incident and the incorrect setting of the heat pump.
