When adding devices to the Tado X system, there is a prompt to change the name. However making any change seems to have no affect at all.

    Is that for using Apple Home (or Google Home if that’s your flavour) once you have installed Tado X on the Tado App perhaps? My Tado X components have happily populated the Apple Home after installation. Here are my 3 hallway Tado X Radiator Thermostats renamed.

    I was just away checking to see if you could apply the same logic with the Tado App, I could not.

    Yes I have had the exact same issue, I have reported to support for them to fix.

    I have this same problem. Makes using the devices painful with different ecosystems.

    I spoke to Tado about this recently. Was told that this is an Apple only feature, i.e only for HomeKit.
