Tado X Thermostats Disconnecting.
I installed Tado X yesterday. As I purchased a number of kits I have the following.
2 Thermostats
1 Bridge
2 Wireless REcievers
20 Tado X Thermostats.
Worked fine overnight, but now 10 of the Thermostats are off-line and not connected.
This would make the system unreliable for me as when I travel the risk of not having access to the thermostats would be a deal breaker for me.
The bog attraction was that the Tado X system used a mesh system as it is a fairly large house.
It seems bizarre that a modern newly designed mesh system would have lost connection to half the thermostats.
When setting them up I noticed that some had lost connection and I had to factory reset them and reconnect them through the app.
Would the thermostats be faulty or is there some other reason.
Most of the disconected thermostats are within 10 foot of the Bridge, one is only a foot away.
Any ideas, or is it a case of returning it all.

Have the same issue. Wondering if they are going to have any update/fix or announcement

Might help, there is a “help” article that mentions the Tado X Bridges can handle a total of 20 Tado X devices. I have over 20, so bought 2; I have had no problems with Tado matter compliant (CSA licensed) Thread Border Routers (So TRVs, Room Sensors & Smart Thermostat (wired)) connectivity. The problem with Tado X help files is digging out the pertinant from the dross.

Thanks. For this. I also have 2 of the boiler controllers so I have a total of 3. I have another thread border router from a different company on order. I’ll see if this improves it.0

Hello @Michael_Barrett
Sorry to read you've been dealing with this. Concerning the new TBR you have ordered, please be aware that tado° X can only work with the following non-tado° devices:- Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or 3rd generation 128 GB)
- Apple HomePod (2nd generation)
- Apple HomePod mini
Also, if it's true that all your Smart Radiator Thermostats are only 10 feet away from the Bridge, then something else might be preventing connection. Please feel free to ask Tamara, after she answers you, to escalate your case.

Tamara's suggestion was to get another Tado X bridge. As you suggested something else is interfeering, as it will work perfectly for hours and then in the morning random TRV and Thermostats just drop off. I noticed that when I ping the Bridge and Wireless recievers from a PC on my network, the speed is very eratic with occasional dropped packets, while other devices are fine.
Cant see the point in spending another 70-80 Euro on another Tado X bridge as then I will have 4 border routers on the network. It is not a distance thing as some of the most unreliable devices are the closest to the Bridge.
AS I look now I have 11 devices off line. I could not call the heating this morning as the Wireless reciever went off line, and the thermostat could not call the boiler.
I will try a different wireless network, although I get 500Mb down on that network from my laptop.
