Help adding a TRV to a 2 zone tado system?

We have our heating set into 2 zones (upstairs & downstairs) and have been using tado for a few months controlling the 2 zones independently which was working fine. I recently tried to add a tado smart radiator thermostat to add more control to one individual room upstairs and have been having issues.

Our original set up is:

1 - wireless receiver

1 - internet bridge

1 - wireless temperature sensor (controlling the down stairs zone)

1 - smart thermostat (controlling the upstairs zone)


when I try to add the smart radiator thermostat and change the zone controller there is only 2 options (the wireless receiver or independent no zone controller). Should there be more options here?

When it is set up to the wireless receive controller and I turn the heating on in the individual room upstairs, the downstairs zone heating comes on but nothing upstairs. How do I fix this? Was this an issue with the initial set up (we had a heating engineer install it but he had never installed tado before)?

    @RobinSharpe_12 , I think you'll need to contact Tado support on this. It sounds like a configuration issue that only they may be able to resolve

    As far as I'm aware, your WTS and Smart thermostat should be appearing under the zone controller options so that Tado opens the correct zone valve for the zone that the TRV sits in.
