    Hi,

    Another iOS 15.x user here. Contrary to what was communicated here, the web app does not work either on that OS. Same symptom as with the regular app: no error message, just a spinning wheel. At the very least, this should give a clear message that TADO stopped supporting iOS 15, period.

    The consequence being that customers like me will not be able to control their heating with their phone from now on.

    People on older phones should also consider updating due to possible security issues that will pop up in the near future

    iOS 15 still gets security updates (15.8.3 was released on 2024/07/29).

    Besides, nobody is asking TADO to develop new features for that OS. Just don't exclude it yet. There has to be a better way…

    They fixed it! Woohoo! We can continue using our outdated and battered battery iPhones! :D High five iPhone 7 buddies! :)

    Well, that is good news.

    It was a very strange situation, given that far more sensitive apps showed no loss of functionality at the most recent iOS update for older devices.

    My thanks to Maria from Tado Support and Jason, UK PR& Communications Manager, for taking this issue on and to the systems people for finding an acceptable resolution. Also a big thank you to the community members who joined in the call for this web app to be fettled.

    Hello everyone,

    Just to clarify…

    We don't officially support older versions. Older versions of the app that are installed on older iOS versions can break at any time.If it currently works for you, that is great, however please be warned that the app could still break at any time as newer security patches require us to remove access from older app versions.
