Tado X Smart Thermostat in relay mode?
Hi,
My Tado X Smart Termostat is managing a quite old Normal Open NO relayed 24VAC Wirsbo waterborne underfloor heating system.
1. Is there any way to see that my Smart X Thermostat is configured in simple Relay (ON/Off) Mode?
2. What does the 1, 2 or 3 Heat symbols (vertical wavy lines) indicate when i am in relay mode? I assume I want the thermostat wait for a good while when it gets to my target temperature. Especially I dont understand what 2 Heat symbols means since I think my actuators are either on or off.

Hey,
- I don't think there is a way to check that in the app itself. The easiest would be to double check how the thermostat/bridge has been wired up on the boiler itself.
- The wavy lines are more applicable if the boiler installed can modulate the flow temperature (using Opentherm protocol). For relay (on/off) applications it doesn't really serve any meaningful purpose. There is a little bit more detail on that under Tado X help link:
