@johnbur , well, the lady on the Tado Help Desk advised me this, “I kindly ask you to leave your feature request in the tado° Community, so it can be discussed and voted on by our Community members. That feedback then helps us determine what we should change, and which features we should develop further.”
I guess if Tado never monitor, they are not aware of these requests, so there can’t be any demand! Job done.

It is obvious that Tado are not looking at any of these threads, including ones that are for major flaws.
We need to be more visible. I've started commenting on their facebook page. I suggest everyone else should do the same thing.

Thanks. I won't be very present here, but as it looks now we will have a colleague that definitely will.
Assuming you mean the 'backup schedule' and 'range extender' topics;
The range extender topic is something we cannot easily introduce to existing hardware due to hardware limitations. In that sense it is fundamentally different from this multiple schedule topic. With software you can basically do everything, as long as you invest enough time. The limits here are thus time and if the change actually improves the product for the majority of users.
Hardware however has physical limits. The range issue is something we have been fine tuning a lot though (with firmware), but the improvements were not so big that it solved the issue for those who had massive range issues. For this topic and other topics where the hardware is the limit, our hands are simply tied until we introduce fundamentally new hardware.
I'm not allowed to announce any product updates (which is quite frustrating... to me too), but I can certainly promise that we are not sitting still.

It is a required feature I must say. If you are worried about common people, please do not enable by default. Provide a setting which can enable at each user level. Once enable, the app can show provision to do multiple schedule which allow enable only one at a time per device. I can really guess the number of people wanted this feature those do not know about this forum or lazy or scared to create a login here.

I've only recently become a user of Tado products, and found some great information in this thread, thank you!
Thought I'd add my comments, about a couple of functionalities I am missing from Tado currently (or haven't found out how to use yet?):
- Being able to schedule the Away mode (what is called Holiday mode on other thermostats): Set manually (but in advance) when you want Tado to move to Away mode, and again when you want it to move back to Home mode. The first step works well with Geofencing. But for poorly insulated houses, being able to re-start the heating when you're 2 hours away from home can be very important.
- Having a notion of profiles for schedules, with a quick action button on the front page of the app that would change all rooms schedules in one click (School Day / Everyone home / The kids at their grandparents' / etc.) ⇒ One click would change all the schedules at once, but more importantly: you'd only program them once.
I would love to see those implemented within Tado.

I have a hybrid working arrangement, where I spend some days working from home and others travelling in to an office. The days I travel in aren't the same every week, so I have to manually adjust room schedules one by one every time my in-office days change. This is really irritating, and not at all 'smart'. I'd like to see an overall 'Schedule 1 / Schedule 2' option, where those options enable me to set temperatures for all rooms depending on whether I'm working from home or not.

Please update home screen to identify which schedule is applied to each room (top left hand corner of each room tile, maybe). Given we have three existing possible schedules I think people would likely want to rename them as something useful and create new ones using the more granulated schedule formats.0

I've just purchased and installed Tado in my home and I'm amazed this isn't already a feature. It would make the heating so much easier to control if I could just switch to pre-named profiles rather than manually changin schedules for 7 different devices.
I see this has been suggested many many times. I wonder if Tado count all the upvotes across all threads relating to the same suggestion or just view each thread as a separate suggestion.

Regarding point 2 of the original post edit by Tado, perhaps if some users were struggling with it there could be a different way to implement it that was easier to understand. The Philips Hue app has a profile feature called "Scenes" which is very intuitive.
The way I would envision it working in Tado is that you would have an option to create a new "scene" (or whatever you want to call it), you would then select the specific temperature you want for each room when that scene is active. No schedules, just a set temperature for each room or zone.
Then you could have a single "home" schedule where for each time block you select a scene rather than a temperature.

We are a newly-formed family with children from previous partners that live 1 week in 2 in our house and the other in their other parent's house.
In the week the children are not home, we need to alter the schedule of their rooms to avoid needless heating, and again in the week they are home.It would be great if we could define 2 schedules for each room and switch between them, to avoid redefining the whole schedule again each week.
It would be better if we could activate the alternate schedule until a predefined time and automatically make it switch to the primary (home) schedule gain when that time has arrived.It would be super if the system could automatically switch between room schedules, based on the presence of a person. e.g. switch to the alternate schedule if a certain person is not seen home for x amount of time.

I also have a similar problem and today I wrote to support... in the old versions you could disable the geofencing control now with the TADO X it is not possible0

This feature is definitively not hard to implement with a simple UI. It could be a dropdown from the home menu, on the top right (free space there). Did you ask users about new features? Saying very few people are vocal doesn't mean it's not a useful feature…
Anyway, for now I will post some bad reviews about the lack of feedback and new features, starting with TrustPilot. It might be the only way to be heard…

I would like to deactivate the geolocation function for some rooms and even better for users... I have two apartments managed by the same boiler. On the first floor there is user A, while on the second floor there is user B. If A enters house, the programming of user B who is away from home is also reactivated.
I would even pay for a subscription to have this feature... There could be advanced features only for those who need it... I see from reading that it is a big lack even compared to competitors0
