Wireless thermostat call for heat all the time
is there a easy way to stop the wireless thermostat calling for heat all the time as once it has reached temperature the heating stops which I would expect. But as soon as the temperature drop by 0.1 below the set point the thermostat calls for heat. With this happening my energy bill had doubled / trebled. My old Drayton wired thermostat would not call for heat until at least 1-2 below the set point. I have normal TRV’s on all my radiators except for one where the old thermostat was. Would It just be a case of putting the wireless thermostat there and not in my main room where I wanted it to stop this from happening. I have V3+ wireless smart thermostat with programmer that has hot water control. I have no issues with the water side as once it reaches the temperature on the thermostat on my water cylinder the hot water stops heating.

I'm not sure why you'd want the temp to drop 1-2 degrees below the set temp before heating starts again. It would surely take a big chunk of energy to bring it back up to set temp each time instead of the smaller drop that Tado allows. You may just need to leave it in place for longer for it to learn the room characteristics
I'm not sure why you'd be seeing such a big increase in energy usage but there may be another factor at play causing that.

I think it may have been the house was a lot colder than normal with the outside temperature. On the graph today the drop in temperature from last time heating was on 9pm last night until it went on today (3:30 pm)was 3 degrees higher. I know you think that’s a lot of time without heating but I’m out the house from 5am and have it com on 45minutes before getting home. I think you might be right about still learning as just put thermostat for now where the old one was. I just need to put it in the room I want it then set the offset correctly as won’t be far from a radiator so it takes that residual heat into account
