Boiler Actual On/Off Status
Hi,
Would it be possible to provide an actual indication on when the boiler is switched on/off by Tado, please?
Currently there is no clear indication on graphs/in the app as to when the boiler is requested to operate.
This would be really useful to have and should be easy to implement.

I was going to post the same suggestion but will now just put my support behind this thread!
This is 100% needed. The 3 heat demand levels are near meaningless for those of us on relay mode and make looking at the history graphs a complete guessing game. Even the majority of dumb thermostats tell you when the boiler is firing and a smart thermostat like Tado which can give all sorts of other interesting information, really should be able to tell us the most important thing in heating: when was the boiler on and for how long.
An additional overlay in the history graph to show boiler firing is the most important part, but something to show boiler activity in real time in the main dashboard would also be useful.
It's an incredibly odd omission. I can't think of any other thermostat I've used in my entire life that didn't tell you when it had turned the heating on, except thermostats that didn't have any screen at all and were literally just an analogue dial, and I think we can do a bit better than that.

I'd also like to see this…. would be good to know when money is being spent.

Totally agree. Since Tado knows really well if the boiler is on relay mode or not, it should be clearly visible in the app when the boiler is actually on our off.1

I would also suggest that heating activity shown under 'care&protect' in the app, should be based on the actual boiler run time too.0
