Whole House Override from main thermostat
HI, I'm new here, I did a quick search but couldn't find anything. We have an issue in our house which is that I love smart home tech but my fiancee hates it. We have a tado thermostat in the hallway with radiator ones in every room. Our house is quite drafty and cold and sometimes we just need to override the schedule…

"feels like" temperature setting
21c feels quite different depending on the humidity in the room It would be great if the trv would adjust accordingly, depending on the humidity.

Mention remove the existing wireless receiver
Hi all, just installed the wireless starter kit v3+. The installation instructions for Viessman Vitodens 100-W B1KC did not say anything about removing the old wireless receiver. It would be nice with a little mention on that :)

"Summer/Cooling mode" for wall thermostat
Hi there, I have an underfloor heating with a cooling function. In summer, cool water can run through the floor to cool the room. For that I currently need to set the temperature to max (25°C) to keep the thermostats open. If the room temperature would rise above 25°C the thermostats would close and prohibit a cooling…

More than one PV array
Hi, The ability to add your Solar Array details to your Tado Balance system was launched a few days ago. Sadly, it doesn't give any way to add more than one array, and I assume most of us have solar panels on more than one area. In my case it's South-West, North-Eas and South East with different angles and numbers of…

More detail on device errors - Wireless Receiver
Quite often the Wireless Receiver is showing 'device errors' (blinking hazard light) but none of the devices actually have any issue. I believe that this condition is also explained by the fact that a software update may be in progress. However, this is not at all obvious. It would be really good if there was an option to…

Inputting heating bill for oil kerosene top up.
Is it sensible to firstly input the previous year's oil consumption and average price before we input the last heating bill. Do we use units ie is a unit a litre. Oil is 10kw/litre or is a unit a kw? What's anyone else doing? I have asked via the bot but not got an answer yet.

Smart AC Thermostat Battery Pack & Homekit Upgrade
Hello folks! I'm a tado enthusiast and I built quite an ecosystem at home: always felt that tado products have an extra kick both in design and experience customization which made me choose them above the competitors. I was a bit turned off by the Smart AC Thermostat USB cable hanging along the wall and plugged in the…

Need to add an additional Heating Unit in the Energy IQ feature (Cubit Feet) for the UK
I'd like to request that the Tado Development team add an Heating Unit of Cubic Feet (ft3) in the Energy IQ part of the app. At the moment, there is only m3 (cubic metres) and Kwh there at the moment, and a huge number (Millions) of UK homes have gas meters with cubic feet callibration not m3 or kwh. Without having Cubic…

Plot all rooms on same graph
Perhaps with selectors to show/hide rooms. Would be great to see the interaction between temperatures!

Controlling heat pump for heating and cooling
By now more and more owners adopt air-water heat pumps to heat and cool their houses by water plumbing under the pavement, so saving energy respect to other solution. What is of paramount importance given the present surge of energy prices. Yet so far Tado has no solution for this configuration, notwithstanding it would…

Priority/importance levels.
I'd like some rooms (i.e. bathroom) to stay at some temperature over night but I don't mind if they are slightly more off the set temperature and I don't want boiler to fire up just for that room. It could be heated up when other room (i.e. master bedroom) needs to turn boiler on. Something like the temperature set to 'no…

Back gesture in app
Navigation in the app would be hugely improved by enabling the normal swipe gesture to go back (on iOS, but probably the same on Android). The software back button is at the top left of the screen which I find awkward to tap.
