Set a manual time limit on Manual Away Mode to go back to auto.
Set a manual time limit on Manual Away Mode to go back to auto similar to the manual timer mode on the TRVs/Thermostats.

Set the "Follow Me" functionality of my Midea Air Condition from the App
Issue The air condition Midea Silent Cool 26 Pro WF is equipped with a so-called "Follow Me" functionality. Activating the feature via the included remote control or on the device itself makes the AC use the remote control's temperature sensor to measure at the location of the RC. Tado is not respecting this setting and is…

Child lock for wireless temperature sensor
As per the title. The TRVs have a child lock function, but the wireless sensors cannot be child locked. As the wireless temp sensors effectively control the heating in the same way as the TRV, it doesn't make sense to not have child lock on them. Thanks

Mac M1 App
Bring the iOS Tado app to the Mac AppStore to use the features in which HomeKit doesn't support (Ie. Override Timer, energy reports, timer settings). When we had access to run these apps pre MacOS 14.2 or 14.3 tado was one of the best apps to use via MacOS for M1 devices which saved me from hunting down my iOS device. It…

Disable TRV "calibration" when offset is changed [required for using external sensor]
As you may have read elsewhere on this forum, myself and other Tado users have been working on ways to make Tado TRVs more usable by using cheaper external sensor to read the actual room temperature and dinamically update the temperature offset of the valves with great results. The only drawback of that is that we have to…

Additional physical sensors (presence, doors closed) for more targeted routines
Hi! It would be great to have couple of additional sensor types to allow more customised routines: - presence/motion sensor - door/window open sensor These sensors could be additional conditions to the routines, e.g.: - heat bathroom to 23 degrees only when the door is closed - heat Office to 21 degrees Monday-Friday 8-18…

Air Comfort
The ideal temperature in a room or zone is a matter of personal choice. The degree of humidity is a matter of climate. These vary and should be capable of choice and customisation not a level of humidity and temperature that tado decides should suit everybody regardless of preference and location. Solution. Allow for some…

2FA / MFA - EU legal requirement
Hi, I've created a new post to again highlight the importance of this to Tado. Without 2 factor authentication/MFA, Tado will soon be in breach of EU law. In 2022, the EU Commission proposed the Cybersecurity Resilience Act (CRA) which introduces mandatory cyber controls to, amongst other things, IoT devices including Tado…

Relay and Opentherm together
The Tado extension kit can control the boiler through a relay (simple on-off switch) or through the Opentherm bus. The bus allows for better temperature stability and higher efficiency as it tells the boiler to turn the heating up or down as necessary. If a heating system contains other elements, like a shut-off valve or…

Make Smart AC Control expose more AC settings to HomeKit?
Is there any reason why the only options in HomeKit are cooling, heating and off? In the Tado app I can see that it knows the commands for auto mode, dry mode, fan mode, fan speed, tilt, fixed etc. HomeKit supports these modes and settings, I don't think it would be that difficult to expose these modes and settings to…

Please implement the possibility of disabled the three LED lights of the internet bridge
Hi Everyone, the Tado internet bridge has three very bright LED lights. I would like to have the possibility to disable those LED lights please. A configuration as described below could be useful for all users: by default, after booting, the LED's are also on but in the app and/or the web portal you can choose to disable…
