Using Tado in only 1 zone
Current setup 3 floors, each with a Honeywell CM707 wired thermostat. Also Honeywell ST9100C controller for hot water. Unfortunately the thermostat on the 2nd floor is in the hottest room, sunny and above the boiler, so the temp has to be set too high if the other rooms are to get hot. I would like to replace the CM707…

Radiator Valve with Gravity System
My system is set as “Gravity Fed”, controlled by a wireless air thermostat which (correctly) turns on both the Hot Water Relay and the Pump Relay when thermostat requires. I have now fitted a Thermostatic Radiator Valve in an another room from where the air thermostat is fitted. This turns on and off the pump relay when…

Dynamically adjust opening percentage based on rest of system as well as heat demand
A couple of weeks ago I posted a suggestion that users be allowed to set the minimum opening percentage on the smart valves to alleviate water rushing noise. In a separate thread about vibration, a solution was suggested to remove the Tado valve from the radiator nearest the boiler because "…it can happen that the water…

Shows room offline if one TRV is down
Hi, just wondering what the reasoning behind it is and if this could be changed. I have a room with three TRVs and a thermostat. One TRV is offline as the radiator is being replaced. The app and the website show the entire room as offline. I cannot see or set anything, I can manually adjust the TRV though. Could this be…

Zoning without TRV's?
Hi, my situation: boiler with gravity fed tank, currently controlled via a Honeywell timer. Bedrooms all have TRV's, downstairs is UF heating and some rads with TRV's. My plan is to replace the timer with a Tado wireless V3 starter kit. That will enable control of the overall heating (so up & downstairs) + the hot water. I…

Can I reconnect the wires from my old Siemens receiver to the Tado receiver?
I'm considering replacing my Siemens RDJ10RF Programmable Room Thermostat and Receiver with a Wireless Tado V3. I have a Baxi Platinum Combi boiler, with the wiring from the boiler already connected to the Siemens receiver. I'm therefore wondering if I can avoid opening up the boiler and instead simply disconnect the wires…

Tado system with smart radiator thermostats
Hi I purchased my Tado system some years ago and it consisted of: 1 Wireless Receiver 1 Internet Bridge 1 Wireless Temperature Sensor I installed it, and all has been working well. A month or so ago, I purchased 8 smart radiator thermostats and installed those on 8 of my 10 radiators. I am now thinking of ordering another…

Why is still heating ? Temp set to 18°, (room at 18,7°)
This morning I have noticed that the thermostat was set at 18°, the room was at 18,7° and the boiler was still running. The truth is that today is the coldest day in months. Is it possible that TADO takes this in consideration to heat over what I want ? Can I remove it in the case is this "feature" ? Thankyou Gus
