Plastic sensor too prominent
I have 8 x Tado valves working well in my house. Unfortunately it seems that an additional vale I wanted to add has a problem, with the plastic sensor sitting too prominently and not being inside its recess. Any ideas how to fix this? I’ve tried to push it back and gently rotate the sensor but it doesn’t seem to want to…

Tado Wireless receiver offline
Hi Folks, We are away from home on a 3 week vacation. I tried checking my tado status using the App and the wireless receiver is appearing offline. All the instructions suggest to repair but it won't be possible as we are away. All my other devices like cameras are online so it is not Internet issue. Any suggestions on how…

Separate Installation for Granny Annexe
I currently have Tado installed in my home. All is working great. At the back end of my garden I have a granny annexe. I have a system boiler with Megaflo that feeds hot water and heating for the main home and the annexe. Each location has a separate valve for radiators that allowed me to control main home and annex…

Tado X and EveHome Thermo?
I am not seriously suggesting anyone do this but the new Tado X range raises an interesting possibility. I would be more interested in knowing this is possible as a sign of Tado being truly open and fully Thread/Matter compatible than actually doing it. What am I referring to? Tado X uses the Thread wireless standard. It…

Modulating in relay mode
My tado thermostats are wired in relay to the boiler, a lot of the time the zones have 1 ‘wavey’ line and are calling for heat according to the app. The boiler doesn’t tend to start up when this happens which I’m fine with but it skews the boiler activity timings in the app. Is there a way to prevent this?

Tado system with 2 thermostat boilers
Hi everyone, Apologies if that was asked before. I did a search and couldn't find a defintive answer. So I moved from my flat to a new house and took my TADO starter kit + 2 TRvs with me. In the flat I disconnected the boiler thermostat, wired the receiver to the boiler, thermostat in the corridor and TRV in the bedroom…

Wiring up all wrong
Hi, we had a qualified electrician install our wireless tado system, everything was fine with it until a few days ago. The receiver has live and neutral going into it, I open receiver and boiler panel and run through the installation instructions, first thing it says the black wire won't be required in this installation…

Intergas Xtreme 36 modulation with Tado
Yesterday I had my 15-year-old AWB Thermomaster replaced with an Intergas Xtreme 36. On my old AWB, once the modulation was set via EBUS (D07 on Tado), I could see the modulation temperature of the kettle on display. Now with the Intergas, the setting has been changed to D01 but when I click on the radiator icon on the…

tado for separate central heating and hot water circuits?
Moved into a property recently with a heat only boiler and cylinder (cylinder upstairs, boiler in kitchen) I noticed the hot water switch on the downstairs control panel has been removed and realised this is because the cylinder is controlled by a chunky control panel upstairs. There is no wired connection between the two…

Hi, Hi all, New to Tado as I just purchased my v3+ system. Wired thermostat installation was fine, and also added 5x smart TRV easily. No hot water, Tado not firing up Boiler / Boilermate
We have not had any hot water for 2 days now - the Tado doesn't seem to be firing up the Boilder (a Worcester 30CDI) which is connected to a Gledhill Boilermate 2000. I can run the heating test off the receiver successfully but not a hot water test - no lights when I press that (although I don't know if that was ever on!)…

Using Smart Radiator Valve as zone control for under floor heating
I have recently installed floor heating on the ground floor but there is no zone valve control. Therefore, my ground floor is heated when my 2nd floor calls for heat. I am thinking to use my existing smart radiator valve as the gate keeper for UFH. It will be placed before the hot water entering actuator. Is this plan…

Hello, I have a Greenstar 28i Junior combi MK IV - this connects to a British Gas WR1 and then onto a wireless thermostat. Problem with TADO APP/REGISTRATION
This week a Starter Kit V3+ from OVO was installed in my house by a (qualified) electrician. The related tado app seems to recognise the registration data from the QR code for the three devices involved but, importantly, the data are not being retained by the app and an error message is generated with the heading of…
