Wiring Configuration Tado Controller/Sonoff Temperature Control
I have read several posts regarding the desire to have temperature control for hot water through the Tado controller but believe this is currently not possible. As an alternative I am thinking of purchasing the SONOFF TH316 (the upgraded TH10/16 version) with temperature/humidity sensor to control my hot water. I currently…

Ability to open valves within summer
Does anyone know if Tado has got a way to open the valves without turning the heat on yet? Many boilers operate their pump once per day (mine doesn't) to keep the fluid circulated and exercising the pump. Without the ability to open the valves it means the pump isn't circulating the water around the full system which isn't…

Thermostats calling for maximum heat when in away mode
So… This is a weird one. No one is home, the system is in away mode, yet one of the rooms is asking for maximum heat even though it was automatically set to frost protection. I would have expected that that meant heat requests should be canceled IMMEDIATELY. I’ve manually turned off the whole house with the “Turn off”…

Upstairs rads not heating 2 zone
Hi, I've just installed Tado smart system to replace my old Danfoss system, I have a 2 zone system which I replaced the main TP9000 with a recieve kit, the TS sensor with a wireless thermostat, and a TP5000 with a wired thermostat, plus I have put smart TRVs on all rads apart from the 2 where the wall thermostats are. Tado & Mixergy?
Question- I've got a Tado thermostat with the wireless extension kit so that it can turn my hot water on and off. If I get a Mixergy hot water tank will Tado be able to handle that? Presumably Tado just controls the hours of operation (so you'd set that to be all day/night and let Mixergy manage the magic) and the presence…

Will changing to modulating control make old controller redundant?
Hi, long term Tado user here and now looking to change to modulating control. My current set-up sees a combi boiler connected to the original boiler control which in turn connects to the wired thermostat. Question is will the original boiler controls need to be removed if I want to get the full benefits of modulating…

Believe me I’ve looked at previous questions but I think I’m getting lost. How do I use Tado with a combi and two heating zones, UFH and rest of house rads?
Hi All. I've had Tado for over two years with a conventional boiler/tank/CH system. The existing system was a boiler with controller/extension kit, internet bridge, a wireless stat that I use in the living room to regulate the temp of two rads with Tado TRVs and then Tado TRVs on the rest of the rads throughout the house.…

heating confusion.
I have quite the jankie set up. Tado TRVs on all heaters and a nest 3 thermostat. I have a fairly new boiler from intergas with open therm capability. The nest heating control is wired to the boiler. Can anyone explain why each TRV can trigger the boiler and call for heat despite nest and Tado not being compatible?…

Installation instructions before buying?
Hi, Is there a way to get installation instructions before buying? I'm sure I can do this myself, but don't want to commit before gauging the complexity and ending up with a big heating engineers bill. My heating setup is complex: Two zones (1 ground / 2 and 3 floor) plus a third loop for towel heaters in bathroom which…
